Last semester I made a mental list of goals for the semester. It went great.
So this time, I'm writing down the goals I have for this semester to see if it will make things go even better.
Become better friends with the following people:
Julie Brown
Sara Barbour
Scott Wasserman
Shannon Deep
Matt (sheeh, I can't even spell his last name)
Elise Rowe
Kaitlyn Schwalje
Rob Brown
New friends would be cool but, honestly, I have enough.
Some, like Elise and Kaitlyn, I already know very well but I'd just like to know better. Others, like Scott, Shannon, or Matt, I don't know very well but think I could be good friends with.
I need to decided if I'm going to live with McKean next year. It used to be around 95%, but that other 5% has been scaring so many people away I'm starting to get scared myself, so we'll see.
Either way, I also need to decide where I'll live.
I want to learn to dance! Not like... what I do now. I mean break dancing lesson, maybe learn a few things from Julie, teach myself some Michael Jackson moves.
On a side note, I have been rather obsessed with him lately. Two days ago I had a two-and-a-half hour layover in the airport so I figured "Why not learn the moonwalk?" So I did.
I would like to get a little more... fit? This is probably far too vague for me to stick to it. For now the plan is to go to dance lessons as much as possible plus go to yoga maybe... twice a week. I'll see how it fits into my schedule.
I have a whole list of goals associated with NPP (improv) but the most important one is: Get a girl to join the performance group! There's got to be ONE on campus who is good enough.
And after all this, I'd like to keep my GPA roughly where it is. I could stand anything as low as a 3.0.
It would also be NICE if a a girl would... you know, take interest in me? But honestly, there's no one I know I could realistically see myself with, so I'm not going to put this down as a "goal."
Well, that should be enough for one semester. Wish me luck!
