1. AP Calc: pretty easy, considering we've had all new material and a quiz already. I hope it stays this way =/
2. Adv. Physics: Already 2 quizzes and we're on the 2nd chapter. Luckily this is mostly review. Research projects should be interesting... I hope we can do the resonance glass-breaking (literally) project. And we're randomly studying Java2 also, since Mr. Supal thinks we're programming deprived. I agree, but I don't think I'll learn much from that, so I'm going to study myself.
3. IDS: same ol', same ol'. We are gonna update our resumes and work on college apps/essays. I hope it's helpful and not just a waste of time.
4. AP English: scares the Hell out of me, but that's usually how Spear classes begin. It should be... challenging but fun, especially since I have many many friends in there.
5. Questionable? Right now I'm in Spanish 1, but that was only temporary before I could test out of it and do an independent study in Spanish (to prepare for the College waiver). Now that I know how involved the independent study is and that it's really geared towards students very knowledgeable in the topic, I am going to switch. My current plan is to do an independent study in Music Theory & Composition. I have yet to talk to Mr. Moore, but I want to compose a piece of music, while at the same time learning the advanced theory/composition/ear training things that will be on the AP Music Theory test. It's a long shot, but I want to try it. (Ask you why I am doing an independent study? Because the scheduled classes for 5th hour, first semester SUCK. My choices are Global World Studies 1, Public Speaking 1, and Buisness Law. Clarify?)
6. Psychology: a disappointment so far, but considering the individuals in that class are kinda sad, I'm not surprised that the most difficult thing we've done so far is take a word-recognition cognitive test. Sad! At least Mike (Marino)'s in my class... I haven't seen him in a LONG time.
So, between college applications, Spanish, composition, Java, homework, and my other activities like band, piano, NHS, and fencing, my free time is rather limited. So much for reading all the books on my shelves or playing all the video games I've neglected. ::sigh::
I'm going to Homecomming! It's offical: the Kellster and I are goin'! Woot! I = Happy. What are the plans for pre- and post-dance? Casinelli's?
Wow... Friday's MB practice was pitiful. The game performance looked good to me, but I'm in the front for most of the last song, so I don't have a good vantage point... and from what I heard, wasn't much better than practice. Strangely though, we all still had a great time in the stands. I even stood up and did the Left-Right-Left cheer with Cathy for once.
Got all dressed yesterday to go with Cathy to pick out clarinet hoodies, but she never came. I didn't change into house clothes though, and lo and behold, I was invited out for a night-run to Leasons. Us three musketeers... WOOT. And then Gregg appeared! That was cool. (And YES, I was watching the US Open Womens' Tennis Finals!... and doing physics... so what!?) We closed out the place. Good times...
And randomly, my Mom decided to throw a party, so there are some relatives currently upstairs chatting. Not that I don't like company, but this was very unexpected. And I can't wear PJs all day... =(
Enjoy your weekends everyone.
