Again, not really there these days... It was very shitty last week at work and the time i spent at home it was only to die on the couch before sleeping... This week will be hard again but less stressful I think/hope

i rewatched the scene and it still pisses me off.

I mean the scene with amy is perfect but rory ?
hey rory is getting champain and he isn't worth having the doc's goodbye apparently.
This could have happened in the last season but now. Of course Amy is "more important" for the doctor, but all the season they made rory part of the team. they made us feel that he wasn't just rory pond.
But finally what we see is that the doctor doesn't care enough for him to even say just Bye rory before going away.
The doctor really pissed me off for that, and I angry at Moffat for that...

Honestly, at first I thought the same thing. but I think that the doctor giving him the car of his dreams is his goodbye. And giving him back his wife...

So yeah, he didn't say it with words, but I think he said it in other ways...

The Doctor hating goodbyes has been canon for a long time. I totally fanwanked that as 'the Doctor can't face saying goodbye to them both and he would totally lose it and maybe feels cowardly and shameful about what he put him through.' Also this from tumblr is my head!canon now :

In my headcanon, the Doctor came back later during the week with a cake and he ate it with Rory while Amy was out shopping. They shared some jokes, had a ride in the car and Rory even let him drive (he regretted it later). Then he hugged Rory, gave him his recommendation (Rory, you should grow a beard, it’s cool. Beard are cool).

Then he left.
