2000 words a day... what was I thinking..........
My stated goal of writing 2000 words/day of solid academic work for the next three weeks (weekdays only) did not go so well yesterday, when I managed to write about 100. Now I am up to 398 and have been working on it solidly for nearly an hour. UGH. And I am trying for 3000 today to make up for what I didn't do yesterday. The little "Word count" function in the bottom left in Word 2007 is almost too helpful. I could have sworn that I wrote more than 398 words!
