So I put my plan into action today. I brought Ben some flowers, and I had a whole speech planned. I rehearsed it a bunch last night, but you know me, I have a way of mangling everything I try to say aloud. Augh! Andrew! It's like you're sabotaging yourself on this. How about: before you leave for Cleveland, have another bouquet of flowers delivered to Ben. On the card put something concise like "I love you and I'm scared. When I'm scared I say stupid things." Seriously, you can fight vampires, why can't you just tell him how you feel? It's not as if he doesn't feel anything for you. This doesn't have to be unrequieted for both of you or either of you. He bandaged your wounds, he kissed you. Face it, you'll be miserable but busy in Cleveland, and you really want Ben to come with you. ("Ben, come with me to Cleveland" would be good, too.) Have you talked with Mr. Giles about his sparing Ben to Cleveland since you and he have been working together as a team? Maybe he'd send Ben to you there. Isn't Giles relocating, too? Maybe he'll simply bring Ben with him?

Do you like Ben? Do you want a chance to see where things can go with him?

If yes to both....why are you so willing to let him walk away from you?

Andrew, you've seen how the Scooby Gang can screw up love...learn from it?
