Forget love, all you need is a good crossover

The twins are visiting their grandparents this week, so I was supposed to rest and recuperate. Judging by today, I'm not doing a a good job of it. I spent all morning volunteering at the kids' book sale (which I LOVE, so this isn't me complaining), then all afternoon running the kids to their annual check-up, ballet and other kidly things. I have a church council meeting tonight and still need to prepare to lead my Bible study tomorrow. (Which means nobody is to link me to good House/Cameron smut tonight. No, really, don't do it. I have no will-power and I somehow think people will notice if House's motorcycle gets mixed in with the Acts of the Apostles...) Still, thanks to the glories of wireless, I was able to read a bit while eating lunch... and thus I have a rec!

The One with the 'British' Doctor is an oddly believable House/Friends crossover. The set up requires a bit of canon twisting, but it's a twist that I could actually buy. House's terror of Rachel was amusing, Wilson's sleazy flirting with Rachel was more so, but Ross's geeky fanboying of Wilson made me laugh until I cried. This is the second time I've laughed that hard in as many weeks, but the other story is still in beta so this will have to tide you over until somebody *cough*Taryn*cough* posts hers. In the meantime, go read uarazy2's brilliant crossover. No pairing, so no squick for anybody.

house, rec
