Day 25: Most popular couple in your favorite fandom (do you ship it too?)
Let’s do a few fandoms, because I’m really not sure what my main one is right now.
Babylon 5
It’s what I’m paying a lot of attention to right now and has been one of my top fandoms for close to 2/3 of my life. And I would say John/Delenn is the top ship in this fandom, and that I completely agree with that.
Doctor Who
Was my longest running internet fandom even if it really isn’t much on my radar these days. As such I’m not sure what really is the top ship anymore, but I suspect that Doctor/Rose is still pretty close to the top of the list. That could just be my perspective since it’s my top ship and my DW fandom exposure tends to be with people who think along the same lines.
The Vampire Diaries
Until recently this was my most active fandom experience, but since I’ve kind of...not even drifted, more or less come to a sudden stop on this fandom I wasn’t comfortable making this one the focus of this question. And I’ve never been real clear on what fandom mainly likes on this show. Probably because I do not understand what anyone sees in Damon/Elena and yet I think that’s probably the biggest still...maybe, maybe more people finally got sick of it. But’s guess Damon/Elena with maybe Stefan/Elena and Klaus/Caroline are the most popular and while I may not count myself as a K/C shipper I don’t hate it (I’m steadfast in ‘just not a fan’ with occasional dips into moderate dislike) the way I do D/E (which I despise with the fire of a hundred suns), S/E is somewhere in the middle, sometimes I kind of hate it sometimes I just rather dislike it. Basically there’s a reason I stay out of the main TVD fandom and stick to my flist.
