Heroes reactions
Finally got to Heroes, so here go some thoughts...
Yet again Noah Bennet owns my soul, as usual I'd totally watch this show if it would just be the Bennet Family Hour, with occasional appearances by the Petrellis. The scene with Sylar!Sandra was heartbreaking even if I was 99% sure it was Sylar (the missing 1% was because I started the scene thinking it was going to involve Sylar!Noah); and then the scene with real!Sandra was so much worse because of it (although I'm happy at least that Sylar didn't decide to go after Sandra herself). Then his play with Danko was awesome. I hope this is just a tease with the Noah-Claire reunion since you now, they're my favorite relationship on the show.
Nathan and Claire were incesty, Peter and Claire were also incesty, but I am glad we'll finally get some more scenes between them.
The Hiro, Ando, and babyMatt plot was...okay, kind of useless, but also kind of alright. The writers obviously have no idea what to do with the characters which is sad because they're great characters, but oh well.
The Matt story...was good in concept but it doesn't work for Matt. Maybe it would have helped if I'd actually believed his feelings for Daphne, maybe it just would have helped if he hadn't gone and broken up with Mohinder. Matt isn't really the overreacting-vengeful type, he's not Nathan or Noah or even Peter. But it says something about the actors that I had at least a very small moment of wondering if just maybe the writers were willing to take a huge leap with his character, that maybe in that moment he went there and we'd see some fallout. Of course we didn't, which I pretty much expected but at least I had a shred of doubt.
However, the plot did give us some range for Danko at least, I have no idea how much I believe it but it was pretty well done. But really I do have to point out that these people are idiots to keep going after Danko like this. Proving just how dangerous people with abilities can be really is not a great way to win him over.
But mainly for me obviously the show came down to Noah, who was awesome in pretty much every bit he was in and some of the bits he wasn't.
