Some Saturday or other...
This is an updatey post as I haven't written here in a month and things have been a bit crazy.
Aikido - I passed the coaching course and am now (sort of - still getting the insurance sorted) officially running the Exeter club. It's very weird. How did I end up being Sensei?
PhD - Still ticking along. I'm intending to submit early enough that I can graduate next summer and I'm not going to kill myself doing it. I only hope the Great Hall is accessible by then.
Job - Still haven't got one, have four applications out there at the moment. Hope one of them gets me something.
Writing - I am mostly working on 'the story with no names' (it hasn't got a title either) and it is currently at around 14,500 words. Still no names and I have no idea of what's going to happen next.
House - Parents are down this weekend and we are working on the insulation in my attic; which is very nice with the weather the way it is. Lots of other things I want to do but they all require more time and/or money than I have at the moment.
TV - Have really gotten into NCIS and Criminal Minds of late, I'm counting both of them as series with intelligent main characters. plus they're both on two or three different tv channels so I can watch quite a lot of them.
Christmas - Will be going back to Surrey to spend the festive season with my parents. My time there is limited due to the need to be in Exeter to sign on, the necessity of working on the thesis and me not wanting to miss too much aikido.
