home sweet home. . .kind of
Well, that was a long weekend. . .
I was sent to Oakland University in Rochester Hills to be trained to be an LGI for work. Now instead of having to recert and stuff this coming summer, I'll be training all of the new lifeguards with Josi and Lindz. We went from 1-8 Friday night (with an hour and a half for dinner), 9-7:30 Saturday (another hourish for lunch), and today from 9-2:30 - we were supposed to go until 5, but luckily finished up really early. But hey, now I'm done. Apparently Lindz, Josi, AND Jim are all going to be gone on March 31, and we've already cancelled two inservices, so. . .that leaves me, and only me, to run it. Should be interesting. . .but hey, I'm a trained professional instructor now, I can handle it ;)
Anyway, I was going to go into the whole "spring break" thing, but. . .it can all be summed up like this: I saw manatees, and I love them. Evan has been instructed to get me a manatee for my birthday. If I could be any animal, it would be a manatee.
And that was Florida.
I have to go to the library to study with Courtney, we have an Analysis exam tomorrow that I'm definitely not looking forward to. I got a 0.0 on our first one, meaning I have to do a lot better on this one but. . .much easier said than done. Wish me luck? So yeah, library, and then I get to see Evan for the first time in a few days, yay :)
