Boy do I have quite a few things to worry about this week:
1) Math test tomorrow and I still haven't studied. Wah.
2) Debate on comm class on Thursday about the continuing process of desegregation in American public schools. My partner and I are on the negative and until now, I still haven't found an article or even a quote to argue about the case.
3) 10 sources (books, scholarly journals, articles, whathaveyou) due on Wednesday for my dreaded ten-page research paper in English. I should have all copies on Wednesday.
I am thinking about all the photocopying and printing I will be doing and how I'm probably going to end up feeding the photocopy machine and printer about five fricking dollars because of the said assignments. Damn, why did I have to leave my printer/scanner at my uncle's house?? Major crap.
Thursday is the Kern Projections Film Festival and I want to go. I want to see:
1) Behind Forgotten Eyes, which is about Korean girls that were used as sex slaves by the Japanese Imperial Army during the WWII. This will probably make me depressed and sad after watching it, but whatever, I love any movie that was set in the WWII.
2) Beyond the Call about three middle-aged men (and dare I also say millionaires) that travel around the world to deliver humanitarian aid. As in, they carry a huge bag with them that contains thousands of dollars and hand it directly to anyone in need of it. It's like Mother Teresa meets Indiana Jones. Muy interesting.
And I also want to watch the following movies in theaters:
The Darjeeling Limited (!!!)
Across the Universe
Heartbreak Kid
Be Kind Rewind
Atonement
Dan In Real Life
Dedication (!)
Lust, Caution
Death At a Funeral (saw the trailer online and literally laughed out loud)
Charlie Bartlett
The Jane Austen Book Club
Le sigh. So many movies to watch, so little time and er... cash flow.
Okay, back to LexisNexis.
