Christmas! and Wii too!
I hope everyone has had a great Christmas! I know I have!
I finally have a Steiff teddy bear, that is just soooooo cute! And I got a game for the computer, a Snoopy planner, coffee liquor with glasses, and a cook book...oh and not to forget the cash of 100€ I got from Tante Doris and Onkel Edi which was a total surprise.
Edi also received some nice gifts including 100€. But his main gift was the Nintendo Wii, which I'll be paying off for the next 18 months...but it is worth it. The Wii is great! It comes with a sports game with bowling, tennis, baseball, boxing and golf. The games are nothing like the old Nintendos where one sits on the couch and pushes some buttons. No, you actually need to stand up and swing your arm(s) at the right moment. Now that I have the hang of it, it is a lot of fun. Don't like the boxing too much though. This morning I actually worked up a sweat with the practices at the same time setting the records. I don't believe Edi wants me to see him practicing, but he did play against me. The golf is rather difficult with some impossible holes that would never be made in real life. Ever heard of hitting the ball from island to island trying to find the cup?? Me neither! I just love the game! I hear that in the future, there will be something for the legs too, called Wii Fit. It will arrive in Europe way after Japan and the US. I hope it will be worth the wait
