LJ Challenge: Day 22
I had my first official showing of my Miche bags at a board meeting for Steps to the Cure (http://www.stepstothecure.org). I got a great response and already have a pair of gals who want to host a party (together) and one who has a lead on a booth show at a nearby synagogue. These things really show well and people were genuinely impressed with how nice the bags look and how well they're priced. I hadn't really planned on making a "thing" out of this gig, but if it takes off, who knows?
It was interesting to sit in on a board meeting for Steps. Especially interesting to see my friend Lori in a directorial role. She is really well suited to it.
Babysitting went well for the kids insofar as all kids were asleep (or at least in bed) when I got home. Makes me much more comfortable with going away for several hours for my HS reunion this weekend.
Hillel just walked through the door after a 4 hr drive home from Pittsburgh. Time to sleep.
