And the brother, he came a-visitin'
So the big brother came to visit yesterday with his girlfriend. First time I met her. She = pretty cool. Went out to dinner with them, at Ristorante Italiano. Italian restaurant, obviously enough. Food = good. This'll probably be the last time I'll see my bro in a while, since he's moving to Las Vegas next week. He's got a new job there, that's why, the bastard. Well, that, and his girlfriend lives there. He says he'll try to make it back for our mom's birthday at the end of next month, but who knows, right? Me, I say, "dude, can I visit you during Spring break?" =D But, yeah. He's all with the, Las Vegas, yay! Me, I'm still with the, classes *headdesk* and all that.
So, while they were here, we went around the uni. It's also my brother's alma mater, so he was all, "look girlfriend! look at what a pretty place i lived in!" and she was all, "ooooh, very pretty!" (Because it is, really. And yesterday was a pretty nice day, so the view of the ocean? Very nice.) And, of course, his outrage over all the new science buildings that have sprung up since he graduated. Him: "What the hell is this crap?!?" Heeh, he was a Film student, I'm an Art student, so we share those sentiments. *grins*
