Stargate SG-1 8x03: Lockdown
So, watched the new Stargate episodes yesterday. Right now, only have stuff down on SG-1, because I haven't finished typing down the stuff for Atlantis yet. So, without further ado,
Ahhh, Daniel, Daniel, Daniel. I love it when you use your linguistic abilities. You need to do this so much more often.
Heeeh, Brig. Gen. J. O'Neill!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ He's so on top of things. And so unimpressed with the new Russian officer. Love his insistance that Colonel Vasalov wasn't going to be put on SG-1. "I'm not gonna be puttin' you on mah team, biatch!" Jack's so possessive. XD Felt sorry for Vasalov, though. "Dude, I'm the best the Russian military has to offer, and you still ain't putting me on yo team? Bite me, bitch!" And then they start mud wrestling.

Did I actually type that? ^_^;; (Though, actually, the mental image would be so much better if you replace Vasalov with Daniel...mmmm...)
Moving on. Teal'c! Apartment! Woooooo! He has hair and he's moving out of the base! Big year for the big guy!
Jack: "We gave them their own team!"
Daniel: "That was two years ago."

So, back to Colonel Russian. Shouldn't he have gone through a medical examination upon joining the SGC? Or would that have lessened the dramatic tension? Yeah, I'm thinking that.
New doctor. Yay. *misses Janet already* So, Dr. Brightman, huh? Seems really excited about her job. Yes, that is sarcasm.
Duuuuude, posessed!Daniel is so much fun. Actually, Daniel when he isn't acting like himself is alway fun. And, duuuude, Jack shot Daniel! The look on his face! Awwww. We only shoot the ones we love. *coughs* Alien posession. Anubis. Whee.

Followed by Jack's shifty-eyed look and Daniel's comprehension! Bwah! I know I sound totally redundant, but I ♥ those two so freaking much. Also, Daniel? Stealing Jell-O? *snickers madly*
Meanwhile, Major Kearney looks suspiciously familiar.

jhhdghdkfjghkrtHE'SYOUNG!HAMMOND!!!! *points* HE IS!!! Poor dude, both his characters have been zatted by Jack! Am so amused by this.
And, once again, the Jack and Daniel show!
Jack: "You're not supposed to be walking around."
Daniel: "It's my arm."
Jack: "You were shot."
Daniel: "I know, you shot me."
Jack: "Not the point."
♥ ♥ ♥ I love how Jack keeps evading the subject of how it was he who shot Daniel. *pats Jack* Don't worry, Jack, we all know you love him.
Is it wrong that I'm so very amused by Jack having to deal with the President? Before, that was Hammond's job, but now it's placed squarely on his shoulders. ...that's a slightly scary thought, actually. O_o Anyway. Am also amused that Jack is bluffing Anubis. You go Jack! ...but then he gets taken over. *headdesk* And Daniel gets zatted again, this time by the body of yet another teammate. The only SG-1er to get out of this intact is Teal'c. Damn, it's good to be Teal'c.
Colonel Vasalov: "Self-destruct? Screw this, I'm leaving!" Yes, that was the thought that was going through my mind when he left the infirmary. ^_^;; But. Anubis. Got. Frozen! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Am so very, very, very amused.
Overall? Liked the episode, but didn't think that it was anything really special. And, once more with feeling! Jack and Daniel? Are absolute gold together.
