Well mate-eeze....if Captain Jack was my capt'n, I'd run off to sea this very minute!!! David's family invited me to go see Pirates of the Carribbean, (No. 3)End of the Worldm last night. It was opening day for the movie and the three grandkids have been waiting for this for several months! They had a count down until yesterday, and a near melt down when I was late getting to their house. Luckily Josette had gotten tickets for the 6:30 showing so we were Ok on that, but by the time we arrived at the theater, it was mostly full and we had to sit in the third row from the front in order to get 6 seats together. The theater was packed. People actually applauded from enjoyment when it was over. I've never heard that in a movie theater before! We all thought it was great. I laughed out loud many times at the adult raucous humor in it. Olivia, the 7 year old, is in love with Capt. Jack and has a Barbie size doll of him that resides in her doll house. I guess he's the "Daddy" of the doll family. The two older boys had to explain some the plot to David on the way home. He missed some of the dialogue because his hearing isn't too good, even with the loud theater sound system. the snacks: one ice cream cup, one peanut butter M&M's, three huge barrels of popcorn, and six drinks. The cost for the show and all the snacks: $78!!! Worth every penny! I love doing things with this family. They really like to enjoy doing things and I love going with them.
