Oh, oh, oh. The activities for the Ford funeral are fantastic today. Airforce 2 just flew over our house!!!! We are on the landing runway for the airport and when I heard a plane and knew they were expecting it to come, I ran outside and saw it....unmistakable for it's huge white look. Oh my!!! They just showed it on tv landing, with most likely V.P. Cheney, etc. on board. I am watching our local coverage which is giving me a better view of all the activities more so than if I went in to GR somewhere. Although I am wanting to go see in person, the TV is showing things from all over the city as it happens, and I could only be in one place at one time otherwise. And most likely caught up in traffic or closed streets ect.. so here I am watching with great excitement and awe.
More later. I might have to go downtown later anyway to see the airforce F15's do their "lost man" salute as they fly right down the river past the museum. And the cannon salute which they are warning car owners to turn off their car alarms for since the cannons might set off car alarms. Oh my. Unbelieveable.
