Actually they do not require it and I actually have enough related experience to do this job. But I am not willing to move to KY and take a job like this w/o having finished my degree. It would be too disruptive. Damn!

So waaaay back in college I spent a summer working as a resource assistant (park ranger without the gov't pay scale) at a national park in the wilds of Easter Washington State. I was stationed at a tiny ranger station about 30 miles from the Canadian border, in the mountains. I have not been back in 20 years.
