No one can tell you who you are. You're the only one who knows that and your opinion is the only one that matters, period.

The world is full of people who can't open their eyes and would rather live in the dark for their entire lives than recognize that there are other human beings on the planet who live and breathe and feel just like they do. That's the weight of the human condition, and the ability to be happy is the ultimate rising above of all of that.

I may not have a religion, really, but I do know that. I operate under the assumption that if there is a God, there's a reason he gave us this life. And I assume it's so we can actually see other people and make a decision between whether or not we want to actually understand them. And if there's not a God, then this is what we have, and what better way to spend our time here than to open ourselves up to other people and try to see them?

I don't know if any of this helps... probably not. But, suffice it to say, I love you, Jeremias.
