The San Diego Zoo rules. Forgot my digital camera so no pics and hurt my knee looking up at birds while walking into a metal bench. Man, is it huge and filled with all kinds of wacky animals. And the animals actually look happy here which they don't always do at zoos. No penguins but they more then made up for it panda and sun bears and baby bonobos (kinda like a smaller chimp.) I watched two iguanas engage in coitus. At first I thought they were trying to tear each other apart and got scared I was about to witness a reptilian massacre but then the magic happened. Ain't love grand? There are a lot of overweight folks in Cali, many more then I thought there would be, I'm talking terminally obese walking around with giant novelty zoo cups with never-ending soda refills (eck!) It's too hot here to be that fat. That was yesterday...
Today I went and enjoyed the freak show that is Venice beach, it never gets old and I stepped in oil while barefoot on the beach. Where the f' did that come from? It refuses to come off my toe.
