So thinking back to Calexico and Iron & Wine as well as a post by
mrbadluck regarding social graces and what is and is not appropriate, clown suits, and gayborgs. It's bad ettiquitte to tell bands you burn/download their stuff. Some may not care, but why take the chance. Good save by catching yourself and not mentioning the CDR!

I believe it's also super bad ettiquitte to ask them to sign bootlegs. (Which I have done in my more naive days.)

remember that very special episode of "What's Happening" when Rerun and Rogg and the gang get dupped into trying to bootleg a Doobie Brothers concert and get caught and the Doobies teach them a listen about bootlegging? I learned a very important lesson also: Never trust fat people. God I love TV.

OMG... I remember that "What's Happening" episode too.

Yeah, and thanks for not selling me out for making cd's, unlawful reproduction is prohibited you know. I feel guilty every time I burn a cd unlawfully. Oh, that new one should be in the mail by next week!
