Hey, so my sis is thinking about trying to buy a house now (since it's so cheap), but she has terrible credit, so my bro-in-law was saying that she should get a credit report (free once every six months... there's three places, one is experian.com) and then go and dispute EVERY potentially negative item. He said (and he's all businessy and smart with money, so totally a good guy to go for with advice like this) about 50% of disputes are dropped just for you disputing them, and it's worthwhile to get half of it off your report... so yeah. Just thought y'all might want to know that.
