Notes: Double-drabble that took a slightly different path than I thought it would, but I think it's OK... XD My poor Toshiya -- he always seems to get himself into trouble, doesn't he?
“Come back here, you little troll!” Toshiya screamed as he chased Kyo down the hall.
“Do you think we should find out what the children are fighting about this time?” Die asked Kaoru.
“Nope,” Kaoru replied, returning his attention to his guitar and the scrawled notes on the sheet music in front of him.
“I’ll go,” Shinya sighed, following the din down the corridor.
He turned the corner to find Kyo backed against the wall with a hammer raised above his head, while Toshiya paced just out of arm’s reach.
“Kyo!” Shinya snapped. “What are you doing? Put down that hammer!”
“I told him to be quiet a million times, and this is the only way I can get him to shut the hell up!” Kyo fumed, brandishing the hammer at Toshiya.
“Attacking him with a hammer isn’t the answer!” Shinya cried, stepping between Kyo and Toshiya, though he really wasn’t sure that was such a good idea.
“I’m not going to bludgeon Toshiya, you idiot,” Kyo corrected. “He’s annoying, but we need him.”
“He’s going to smash my Gameboy and flush it down the toilet!” Toshiya whined. “Make him give it back!”
Shinya shook his head, then walked away.
