My grandfather's been diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
ETA: Apparently, this has been official for months. No-one told me. "He doesn't talk about it. We don't talk about it."
I get it. He's their father. It's not my place to butt in. But if being the oldest grandchild means I go to all the 'greats' funerals, don't I get to be in the loop for something like this? Why is this happening to him? He's already been through so, so much. Why take his mind from him? Why?`
