Who would have thought time had wings?
I looked at the calendar today and my sister, my only sister, her first born daughter (she has three daughters and the first one was adopted) so Melissa is my sister's first born, she is 27 today!
WOW!!!!
I remember...of course it doesn't help much that I have a picture of all three of them as "babies" I mean that's the great thing about photos it does stop time and you have wonderful memories however that is exactly what it is...they STOP time and you have wonderful MEMORIES
and then society is telling you to "live in the moment" and that's hard to do when you have surrounded yourself with "memories"/"the past"
My neice, Melissa Sue is 27 today. She has 2 of her own children. Colin will be 9 maybe even ten and Britny is 5 (maybe???) and she has a wonderful husband who loves her with his whole heart and they have created for themselves a real family and a real life...
From where Melissa came from its a miracle...
And I just want to say Happy Birthday Half-Pint...you are an intelligent, bright, spunky young lady who will never be older than her Aunt Lisa.
I love you baby girl and I do wish you a blessed day full of life, laughter and love and oh by the way, you have to eat the food Colin makes you whether it is good or not..I did with you...
The wonderful thing about life is the ability to look back...Enjoy Melissa and make sure he knows its the greatest meal you have EVER eaten love ya!!!
