Movie screening

Yesterday I went with a few members of the SF club to a special screening of the Movie Daywatch, sequel to Nightwatch. It was Ok, I guess, but I was pretty confused throughout the entire move. At first I thought it was because I had not seen the first move, but unhipster informed me that she'd seen it, and was only slightly less confused than I was. Maybe it was the culture difference (it was a Russian movie) but I really needed help with the plot (something about magic chalk, and a father trying to reunite with his son. the best part might have been the free T-shirt we were given. Not that I want to display that I saw the movie, but the shirt itself is pretty cool. Plus it's black, my fav color! Anyway, after the movie was over, I had to deal with one of my pet peeves: people applauding at movie theaters. For a REAL premier, with all the actors, writers, directer present, I can understand, but at a normal theater? Who do these people think they're applauding? After the movie was over, we lost about half out group, while the other half went out to look for a late dinner. After trying about 5-6 places that turned out to be closed, we happened upon a Giordanos, and were able to have a nice meal. Afterwards, at midnight or so, we all left for our homes.
