(for those of you not interested in anime in general and Fullmetal Alchemist in particular [-gasp!-] , I'm going to put the rest of this behind the cut for ease of passing right by)

For those of you who didn't know, Funimation must have got the rights to FMA: Brotherhood.  Since they are going to show it on-line starting 9 April.

Not that I'm really shocked about Funi getting the rights again - there really isn't a whole lot of competition left out there anymore, and I'm pretty sure everyone would love to see most of the VAs back...

Oh, please, someone tell me Travis will be back...

What does somewhat surprise is that they are going to actually stream it.  I think everyone was hoping this would happen (as it is happening in pretty much the eastern half of the planet) - but I (at least) was figuring it was going to be A WHILE before it happened.  Like at least 6 months or more down the road. Sorry, must be the old-school anime fan in me coming out.  I'm so used to shows coming out a year (or more) after their run in Japan, I figured that the same thing was going to happen again.

Glad I was wrong. So, so glad.

me? a geek?, anime, fma part b
