Take me as I am...

Well, so here I am, signal the trumpeters....

Well so I won tickets for 2 to the NCAA basketball championship in St. Louis from America Online... (Whoo)
I am not a fan, but I thought "Hell its a romantic weekend to spend in a far away land with Amy", Fortunately she could get the time off to come with me!

The flights down were amusing, my father just 'knew' we were going to miss our flight because we were leaving so late, but he was wrong as usual.. We connected in Chicago, but alas I had barely enough time to meet her, because before long we were in the air destined to Missouri!!! (The best state EVER!)
I got up from a really comfy chair with a really beautiful girl in my lap to get our bags, but much to my dismay, they weren't there!! I (assuming I had missed them while sitting with above said woman) go to the claims office to find out that they had not arrived in St. Louis, and that they had no idea where they were.. Surely a great way to start our vacation... I started to become agitated, and I asked if there was a possibility that the bags could have arrived and not have been checked in, and the rude clerk said "Yeah its possible, and if they did come in they'd be in the back room here, if they are here we will deliver them to you tomorrow" I tell her that that was unacceptable, so I jump over the counter in a fit of anger, and I ran into the back room...(Now in retrospect, I know this was a really stupid idea, and I could have been arrested, but it was late, and I knew how upset Amy would be if I didn't try..)

Unfortunately, I didn't find the bags... I went to find Amy, and together we both went back, and checked again one more time to make sure.. I then called for the airport shuttle, but is was going to take 45 minutes to get there, so I went looking for a cab.

Adding to our frustration, the cab driver got lost. (He was new, so I wasn't upset even though it was 1:00 in the morning) He was really nice to me, but he was really rude to Amy.. We finally arrived back at our room and then we crashed..(Not in the airplane sence)

The next day was MUUUUUUUCCCHHH better!

Monday we had to wait in our hotel room until 3 for our bags to arrive, so we um... played Monopoly, and I let Amy win 10 times in a row.

I finally got through to the Airport to find out that our bags would be delivered by 9 that night, well after the game started, so I took a shuttle to go get them.. Oh it was great to have our bags back!! We hypothesized that an elecric razor had gone off amd they had to take our bags off, because the razor was dead when we got it back... (My dad still thinks it was because we got there late, and they were teaching us a lesson)

So the Limo picked us up at the hotel, Stretch Hummer.. very nice.. And we went off to the game.. It was fun to see all of my managers drinking in the limo with their wife/girlfried/father... We were a weird bunch! The game was cool, because the AOL V.P. game me a $25 food card and bought me whatever Amy and I wanted at the gift shop. The game was cool, my favorite part was when we got to go on the floor and show our tickets to the people who 'guarded' the good seats.. I didn't care either team (nor the sport itself) but it was still fun.. I thought there were four periods, but there were only two.. So when they dropped streamers and confetti onto the court, I was confused because I thought it was halftime..

Afterwards the limo drove us back to the hotel, and we opted to take a nice evening walk.. We got some Mailibu, and some Lemonade smmothies, and we went back to mix drinks (for Amy, not for me, I Don't drink)
I think Amy drank to much because she didn't mix them very well... We had a good night nonetheless..

The next day we went to go downtown! We shared a shuttle with Jeff, one of my managers, and he was throwing up, so of course it was hysterical. From the Airport, we caught the Metro to go to the Arch..

About the Arch, First of all, the thing is unbelievably beautiful.... I was really humbled by its sheer size and perfection.. To go in, you must first go underground to a souveneir shop, and a museum.. And you can actually buy tickets to go to the top! On the ride to the top, you sit in a little egg shaped car that tall people bang their heads when they get into it.. It carries you to the top in the same principle as a ferris wheel. Once you get to the top, the view is breathtaking!! Right away you can see that the Arch is obviously the tallest structure in the city!! At that height, you could feel the whole thing swaying back and forth in the wind which I thought was really cool!

We finished quick, and went to a restaraunt for lunch. The food was not that great because it made Amy suddenly really sick..

On the way back to the airport, we stopped at the fairgrounds, but there was nothing to do there, so we had a grass fight! The wind kept blowing up Amy's skirt, and I thought it was hysterical! she wasn't as amused..

We flew back that day with much sadness, but we drew an amazing picture of an underwater scene with a dead Jack Skellington, a dead Spongebob, and some really mean fish..

Oh, I fell asleep at the wheel a number of times that night, but I am alive....(Obviously)

The rest of the week kinda flew by... Rocky was great! Crashed at Amy's afterwards..

I saw Holly and Ryan the other night.. They came up from Florida and a whole bunch of us from Spooky World met up at Dave & Busters.. Wow its been almost two years since I've seen some of those people....
I hunted bear and moose with Ray Mitchel, and lost horribly...

So here I am at work... I should get a new job, but ehh..
