I had a very good weekend, aside from the fact that I had a nervous breakdown a little earlier....
Lets see, Thursday Cookie came over to visit, and we ordered out for egplant and calzones while playing Halo.. It kinda sucked that she could only come at 8:30, when I got home from work. That day at work I had a secret nervous because I work so much, and because Amy had asked me the night before when she would be able to see me in a play, but I honestly didn't know...
I realized that if I kept working the way I do, eventually I'd be 40, lonely, and sad..... I REFUSE TO LET THAT HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!
So anyway, that night, I went to bed kinda early unfortunately, but I needed the sleep...
Friday, I felt much better so work kinda flew by, I demanded the weekend off, and got what I asked for... The show went really well, the largest crowd we've had in a while.. I hope it keeps up! Afterwards I went home to get up early the next morning
Saturday was fantastic!!
I woke up early to drive to Boston to see my girlfriend sing in the Massachusetts All-State concert.. I met her parents right in front of Symphony Hall, and together, we sat and watched.. What can I say, The concert (what I saw) was absolutely amazing!!! I especially loved the song "Good Ale"!!! Lois, Steve and I got up after the chorus section to go find Amy, but unfortunately Steve had to leave before she emerged. It was so good to see her again, and to praise her afterwards. After getting changed, I took her and Lois to some cafe across the street where the cook harrased the cashier and we all felt bad for her.. We then went to get their car, and I felt bad parting, but the two of them had their own plans.. So alas I decided to not waste the day, so I made my way to Chinatown!!!!! Why Chinatown? I don't know, I just decided it would be a good idea! I found a martial arts supply store, and I thought ***geek alert*** "Hey I bet I can get a nice black Gi for my Anakin Skywalker costume" But they had ones that were like $60... That sucked... I went across the street to Boston Costume to hunt for some randomness, and walked away with a nice set of white spats for my Riff-Raff costume... I only need one, so if anyone needs the other one, let me know... It was sad to see their stock so low, but I am assuming Bertilino will be closing that as well... After Chinatown, I decided to go about randomy.. Too late to go the museum, I ended up in Harvard Square.. I stopped by the Garage and bought a book at Pandemonium, and listened to some street performers.. Before I left I checked to see if Elize was working at her coffee house, but unfortunately she wasn't.. Her coworkers did however give me free Ice Cream, so I gave them free Rocky Tickets.. I started to read the book I bought on the train to my car (in Quincy), and I really couldn't put it down.. On the way home I decided to stop off to see a movie, so I went to Showcase in Randolph to see "The Ring 2"... Far more amusing than the movie, were the two people sitting next to me making out the entire time and feeling each other up (Funny how obvious they were being, despite the fact that it was a sold out show with every seat full.... and the fact that they were in the row second to the front) The movie totally sucked, but it was important that I got to see it....
Today I spent the entire day in bed finishing the book that I had started last night.. It was an amazing feeling.... I so miss being able to do that...
I have set in motion things that I cannot change, nor do I wish to change.... Its time for a return to normalacy... A return to grace.....
