I hope you don't mind me asking you this, but my husband has played with quartets for weddings before (his primary string instrument is the bass violin), and has considered looking into how to possibly turn it into a business as well. Do you have any tips you could offer on how to get started? Thanks, and sorry to have bothered you! :-)

Well, at least hopefully it was a memorable wedding for all the right reasons ;-)
I think the most unique thing at any wedding I've attended was when the preacher forgot to tell the couple to kiss, and they were already halfway down the aisle when the groom's mother shouted after them, "Kiss! Kiss!". And that sounds pretty tame compared to #10!
