If it wasn't for Texas!!
I love Austin oh so much...I hope one day I will return for good...I really do. Little North Carolina might be pretty and have good sweet tea, but Austin! OH AUSTIN!!
This trip has been simply amazing for me! I'm not gonna lie there's been a few bumps in the road, but overall I think this is probably the BEST trip I've ever been on.
- I've seen family,
- Friends from Austin & school
- RELAXED,
- had GLORIOUS food
- soaked in both Austin and the double R
- had some quality conversations
- Learned a lot about boys and their silly competitiveness and protectiveness
- Laughed
- been a little aggravated
- had a tear brought to my eye
- beautiful weather
- CHILL TIME
- memory reflection
And I think I've learned that friendships last as long as you're willing to invest in them. That sometimes we're so blind we can't see love in front of our faces, and all that people do for us. That even when things get rough, friendships get little shaky, even with a little drama there's always a choice to wallow in it or to take it deal with it and move on. Time is so precious there's no sense wasting it on trivial things. And honesty is always the best policy. Now how you say your honesty is one thing...but being real...so key!
But yes at 2 am in the morning about to cry b/c I realize that I will be leaving Texas so shortly, I should sign-off because I'm not even sure I'm making sense to myself anymore =P
