hee hee, he got elected by all his teachers (three times apparently) to speak at a dinner fundraiser thing on behalf of his school. It's a really important event that happens once a year and brings the school the most money. It has all these important people there (ie. Sheriff Bill Young, several top executives of MGM Mirage and other big corporations in Las Vegas ( ... )

Oh my god, that's wonderful! That's amazing! That's, that's- WOW! That is possibly life changing even, with a lot of possible doors opened, and also... just WOW. And, personally, I love it even more so (which may be bad?) because you guys ARE Hispanic so it shoves a foot in everyone's ass who says "all beaners are lazy-asses."
