Went to comic book store by college today. Flipped through a few DC titles.
Yup, still irritated at DC.
Gaaaah! If I could I'd burn their fucking place down without going to jail, I would!! My god, it's been months since we've heard about our Batgirl Cass! WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?!

*yanking on hair* Every friggin' book I read, a female character that might have been admirable once...is RUINED! WHY DOES DC ALLOW THIS TRAVESTY!? OMIGOD!! EVERY FUCKING ONE OF THEM!?! It's like Didio's wet dream or something! Gaaah! why?! Why!?! Why!?!

Fuck yeah, I'm bitter. I'm HELLA PISSED! Today I went through many American comics (not just DC, but Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, and others) and I DESPAIRED at the end. NONE OF THEM had a cool non-sexy female superhero in them.
Damnit, I know comics are aimed at boys...but damnit! IT'S NOT FAIR! WAAH, I HATE DC! they finally gave me a cool female character whom I could always look forward to each month and they MAKE HER EVIL!! and while they're at it, they strip her of all the things that made her cool. (shy, quiet, reserved, casual-dressed, kickass without the uber sexual-overtones...) Damnit! It makes no sense! The Batgirl solo series was selling well, better than some titles that are still around...so WHY DID THEY HAVE TO RUIN HER?!?
*sniffles* It's just not fair. She was the only minority superheroine who was TOTALLY different from all the girly girly, caucasian, uber sexy superheroines. Cass was tan, small, small-chested, muscular, boyish and she KICKED ASS without being what they consider a metahuman (super-powered humans). T___T She was one of a kind...SO WTF DID THEY HAVE TO CHANGE HER?!
*sniffles* But I did like Blue Beetle comic. ;/ Jaime is ADORABLE. T-T Yay for a hispanic teen superhero! Twas a charm reading him talk in spanish to other characters. *sniffles* SO sad that many old fans don't like him cuz he "replaced" the original Blue Beetle. Fuck, I didn't even know there existed such a dorky superhero before. Ted is cool in a nerdy funny man way. Jaime's ADORABLE! young and possessed by a scarab. He's like the sweeter version of Peter Parker/Spiderman.
I came REALLY close to buying it. really did. But no. I made a promise. DC GETS NONE OF MY MONEY UNTIL THEY FIX CASSANDRA CAIN!
But after going through so many comics, I don't know if that'll be enough. They have REALLY butchred a lot of female characters. It's painful to read, really it is. I want to cry deeply.
At least in Blue Beetle, the one female in there, Jaime's school friend is a riot. I like her, she's sarcastic, wears baggy pants, and has freckles. XD
Jaime's big buff hispanic friend driving her somewhere: Great, so I'm stuck driving AngryGirl around, while Jaime's gone superheroing.
Freckles: Angrygirl. I like that. You can be my sidekick.
Buff Friend: Sorry, pass. Don't want to wear the tights.

*clenches fist* NOpe, I'm not gonna buy it. DC doesn't deserve my money. Nope, not at all! T^T;;
I also came close to buying this month's Batman comic. ToT Squee, I actually like Damian Wayne. He's Talia and Batman's bratty 11-12 year old son that showed up earlier this year in the Batman comics. (don't ask...long ass story). This issue cracked me up. Woot! I am GOOD at predicting plots. I KNEW they were going to use Damian's body to ressurrect Ras al Ghul's soul! God, I'm good! YESH. And Damian was awesome. He's like...HELL NO. Get the FUCK OFF ME!! *kicks and breaks a few ribs* XD
I'm actually looking forward to next month's issue. Talia finally DID NOT SUCK this issue. Cuz good lord, did she SUCK last time she showed up. She was just...wow...can we say BRAINDEAD BOND VILLAINESS?? Wow, yeah. *shakes head* I can only stomach so much bullshit before I fucking gag! Thank you Morrisson! You finally caught yourself a clue! Praise the Heavens! I hope Didio doesn't hurt you too much for writing a female that does NOT SUCK.
