Damn...that's a lot of superheroes. Check it out Angrybee! There's a few Pope superheroes!
It also cracks me up that they put the Sailor scouts in there. XD; And while they're at it, creators apparently invent a few religions too (like Kid Flash's Zen SpeedForce). *giggling*
It's actually kinda interesting to be honest...I gotta wonder how they find out these things. Not all characters are that obvious or say so...
Dang, them a lot of Catholic heroes. People who stick out in my mind are the Batman characters. Interesting, I didn't know Tim (Robin III) was Jewish/Catholic. O.o; I figured he was Episcopalian like Batman. And I keep forgoting that Dick Grayson (nightwing) is part Roma (Gypsy)... wow, Catwoman's catholic? And Jason Todd's (robin II) is just Christian.

But I love kickass writer Gail Simone's idea! Angel of the Bat! (To some degree at least.) WHY DC!? WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE LET GAIL WRITE BATGIRL?! At this rate a religious Batgirl might've made TONS more sense than a cheesy Bond Villainess Batgirl. *facepalm* Well, I can see batgirl getting interested in christian religion due to the forgiveness concept, but I don't know about her pursuing it that far. Still, it's not without weight. Her last name is Cain, who is known as humanity's first killer. And at the end of her series run, she did call herself a "...wanderer named Cain." So there ya go.
Oh, so Lois Lane's a Catholic? Interesting.
And Spiderman's archenemy Eddie Brock aka Venom is Catholic? How the hell do they figure this out!? Not disputing it, just wondering. Should've guess Harley Quin is Jewish, since she's got a Queens accent. XD;; oh man, stereotypes. Ouch.
Speaking of villains...Joker is fucking scary. Wow, those last scans at the bottom just sent chills down my spine! The freak!
(for those that don't know, Joker killed Jason Todd aka Robin II, and Stephanie Brown was Robin IV for a while, but was killed by the Black Mask who is shown here dressed up in Batman's costume. *shudders* creepy!)
I gotta say though, the link on Speedy's pretty good. Didn't know that he was raised by Navajo indians. interesting, interesting...
*sighs* I can't wait till Anime Vegas. I need to rekindle my love for anime...American comics can be fun but always a source of frustration cuz of all the IDIOT EDITORS/WRITERS each character/comic series has!
