hell damn double fuck jesus christ

why the fuck would you bother? what is going to be achieved? so you're Islamic, and that's more important than all the wisdom and life experience you just carelessly extinguished? it's worse than an act of violence, it's an act of futile violence perpetrated by the willfully ignorant. shooting up and bombing restaurants, hotels and hospitals FFS doesn't make you a hero, it's unarmed children, old people and the sick you're attacking. the sick. i note that they picked the richest part of town, where the Bollywood elite mix with their wealthy western connections, to launch the attack. in the words of Gen Y: U H8RS R JUS JELIS.

smoke is still pouring from the dome of the Taj Hotel and 19 hours after the attacks began, blasts and gunfire are still being heard. is this the new face of terrorism as we head into the next decade? this is the equivalent of Circular Quay being beseiged by a group of armed teenagers from the south coast. in 2001, President Bush (who, at that stage, had not been bitten by Dick Cheney and become a vampire) said this war could last for ten years, but after today, I have a feeling it is going to drag on a lot longer than that.

this is a fedayeen attack, which means that they weren't suicide bombers but they want to die in this attack. the deccan mujahadeen is most likely just a front name for a more established network that exists, but we don't even need a name for these organisations any more - it's just individuals bound together by a common ideological goal and that's why they were able to pull off something so huge. these kids will be either dead or arrested, but those who orchestrated today's events are still out there and will strike again.

unfortunately, the question of what we do next remains unanswered.

politics, terrorism
