J'aime boucoup le film "Les Misérables"!

It has been an epic cinema trip with my bestie Cindy at Central Park. We even ran into our HS friend Amanda (whom I haven't seen since I took off for Melbourne in 2006, despite our keeping in touch on Facebook), who was hanging out with her friends from Sydney.

What a fine piece of art Les Misérables is! Most of the cast really delivered (bravo ( Read more... )

Hi, sorry it took me so long to reply but it's been difficult to get back to a "normal" life after everything I lived 2 weeks ago.. it's been really weird and hard because I didn't feel like working but yeah, I made an effort.. besides that, more people have called me this week so I have more students and it's even crazier.. for example today I worked 2 hours this morning and from 15:30 to 21:30 this afternoon-evening so I'm very tired and didn't feel like even checking LJ but I wanted to say hi and I didn't forget about you and your post.

This Saturday I worked two hours and after that I finally could go to Valencia to buy that thing you saw on my instagram (printer-scanner) so then on Sunday I spent all day cleaning and ordering my room and changing stuff to place the printer and install it.. so I couldn't check LJ either. I didn't try the printer yet but with it I plan on printing cool pics of Madrid and Zagreb for my room. I'm sure one of them is gonna be the one where we are in front of the gardens next to the Royal Palace.

Anyway, great to know you had an awesome time and you could see Les Misérables. I gave the DVD of the London anniversary performance to my father not too long ago and he really loves the musical. I watched it in London years ago but I didn't have a great seat so I don't think I enjoyed as much as other people for that reason althout I liked it. I'd really like to see the film because I trust you and I'm sure it is very good with good music.. I have a student who also liked it a lot. Plus, I love Eddie Redmayne so yeah, I'd love to see him in the big screen again.. we'll see if I have the chance.

I've never to the cinema at that hour.. usually here the cinema starts around 15:30/16:00 unless they are super popular movies and they add more hours.

I've watched all Americal Idol but I'm behind on many shows.. it's such a mess.. I need to catch up. At least I catched up with Nikita, TVD, Arrow and Revenge last week.

Hi again, don't worry, you seem to have a lot on your plate, and I've also been running errands these past few days. Congrats on gaining more students! You're a pro. Printing those pics would be rad. I'm trying to get all my pics (including the ones with you and I) into a customized photobook. There's a store to get them done, and they can design a cover that fits the theme we want :D

You can trust the Academy and Golden Globe committee for having picked "Les Miserables". It really is well-conceived :D And Eddie Redmayne really shined (he also got me on the brilliant "My Week with Marilyn"). I could tell he's going to continue doing big things after this. You'll savor the film. Glad your dad enjoyed the anniversary DVD too. <3

Interesting to know about the cinema times over there. In here, the theaters open around 11AM, and the first airing is usually at 12PM. A majority of people in my city are extreme movie buffs so it's always fully-packed. Premiere days for popular films are insane - people can line up for hours just to be one of the first to view the movie.

Been trying to catch up on Nikita, but I'm up to speed with TVD, Revenge, Arrow and SPN. Now I'm hooked back on PLL. LOL. Excited for the premiere of CULT in 2 weeks.
