There's a first for everything, including a 2nd season renewal for a show Michael Cassidy stars in. So happy he's finally part of a series that gets an immediate pick-up after the crash and burn he had to endure in the past! I'm sure the Men at Work cast and crew are over the moon about it, and I'm super-excited for the boys to be back! ;) They will be filming S2 in two weeks.

Michael tweeted he may be free for new projects once October rolls in, so let's hope he can get another gig while we wait for his Fall movies Guilt Trip and Argo to hit the cinema. LOL
Another EPIC news! Haley Reinhart's Undone from her Listen Up album will make the soundtrack to the Step Up 4 movie - Step Up Revolution. This is huge!!!

How on earth did I not pay attention to Birdy before!? I'm glad I bought her self-titled debut album during my trip last week, as she is gifted with an ethereal, divine voice that no other young talents her age have. Excellent take on all the indie covers she recorded! My top favorites are The District Sleeps Alone Tonight, 1901, the much-hyped Skinny Love, White Winter Hymnal and Terrible Love.
If she is this promising at this point in her career, imagine how much she can evolve in the near future when she starts releasing more originals. <3
