The New Guys of TV Land

So the Wine & Cheese Expo I went to a couple weeks ago at La Piazza was fabulous. I got to indulge in some wine-tasting, and my folks even brought a couple home. The event is part of my city's annual Food & Fashion Festival that features cooking demos and seminars by prominent worldwide chefs and food critics from places like Italy, Canada and the ( Read more... )

Men at Work has been surprisingly entertaining. I think I understand your love for Michael Cassidy.

Also, I can't believe a bunch of idiots allowed Indonesia to ban Lady Gaga.

You finished it earlier than me. Lol. But yes he's such a dreamboat. Last night's episode with the devil's threesome was probably the best.

From my understanding, she didn't end up getting banned, which is why those Muslim extremists decided to buy tickets to her show and attack Gaga and her Monsters by themselves. They always got their way and the cops fear them for reasons I don't get. So Gaga's US promoters pulled the plug on the show and we had to let her go for her own safety. Yeah fuck those conservatives.

Ugh, fuck religious extremists. They might as well have canceled the concert for the fans' safety.

Oh God, I didn't know that about Lady Gaga.. where you going?it really makes no sense.. I feel bad for the fans in your country :(

Glad you have so many new cds.. I read that Adam made it to number one so I'm glad for him and his fans.

Basically I wanted to tell you that I read your post but I've not seen ep 3 yet.. maybe later I can -watching The Voice UK now-. I'm not sure yet how I feel about the show 100% but I agree that the second was better and most of all I agree that I love Michael and that he's brilliant and hot and sexy and I also love his outfits (and I do love his hair as well) (and well, if you don't have fantisies about him something is wrong with you..), so I mean, I'd watch it just for him obviously but I think they have good chemistry so I think the show can get much better with time. I'll get back to you about it in the future :)

June 3 is supposed to be Gaga's "Born This Way" Ball in my city Jakarta, which is the capital of my country. It's a very secular, modern place and obviously Gaga is a heroine for all music, fashion and style lovers. Too bad there are more "radical" Muslims here who would normally revert to violence to get their way. Basically, they label her music as satanic and want to do everything they can to attack her, the crew and her Little Monsters by buying themselves tickets to the show. The cops are cowards 'cause the radicals outnumber them. So Gaga's promoters had to pull the plug for everyone's safety. Yes, I feel bad for the die-hard fans. This is absurd ( ... )

I watched ep 3 yesterday and was pretty entertaining so I think the show is improving like you say. Michael in that jacket was HOT indeed! And yeah, I think this character not only looks hotter but also more adult than the Provileged one. Like you say, it's cool that his character is smart and I'm looking to forward to finding out more about it.

I watched the final of the UK one? have you seen it? I must say I loved 3 of the finalists which didn't happen in the USA one where I loved one and liked another.

I just finished the last show of the AU and yeah, it is getting very good too.. it's sad the Russian girl left 'cause she was great.. I like Darren, Karise and Adam but I think my two fav are Ben and Lakyn -sometimes, I didn't like his song this week at all- but being in the same team is obvious that Ben will not get to the final since Lakyn has tons of fans. What do you think?

Yes, I think this may be one of those shows where every episode is better than the other. Oh yes, HOT and SEXY in a rock 'n' roll kind of way. ;) The tight vests Michael normally wears also make him look hip, preppy and young. I don't know if it was the boom mic in the film set, but his voice on "Privileged" seemed pressed down. Here on "Men at Work", he sounds sultry, crisp and sexy ( ... )
