Woggling and tightening belt loops...

As part of his team outing, Fidget was able to get discounted Orioles tickets for us. I had been wanting to go to a game, to be part of that Baltimore culture. I remember Pop watching baseball when I was younger, and know to chant, "Let’s go, O’s!" However, I don’t think I’ve been to a game except for when I was much younger, and I certainly don’t remember it.

The game was Monday night. Donning what I thought was my best orange shirt and orange socks, we hopped onto the light rail and rode down to Camden Yards. I realized that I was slightly more peach than orange, based off of the orange surrounding me. Here I have been under the impression for the past several years that my shirt was bright orange and indeed, it’s peach. This led to Fidget riling me for most of the evening, and when I tried to show him my "matching" socks, he riled on them for being peach too.

Whoops.

I had to wear Fidget’s belt to the game. I’ve taken to wearing his belt whenever I’m wearing jeans, as they’ve become too big for me to walk around. I realized I can tighten his belt to the third hole, when originally, it would only go to the first. Progress!

Then at the game on Monday night, I looked down and realized that some of my belly is gone. Another win!

While the scale hasn’t been moving too much in one way or another, I know my body is changing. Fidget can put both hands on my spine when he hugs me, which is awesome. I’m not as winded and want to keep moving. I continue to blow past previous "records" when I’m woggling.

Hunny recently did the same thing, losing a bunch of weight so that none of her clothes fit anymore. She sent me a box of them, which I did an impromptu fashion show last night. I could fit into those jeans she sent! And the shirts went over me and didn’t suffocate me, much like how that size would have done last year. Actually, I don’t think I’ve seen either of those sizes since I was in middle school.

Small feats. I’m excited and pumped up about the entire experience. I ended up walking 1.4 miles during my lunch break yesterday, forcing myself to walk up to a pharmacy in order to get a birthday card for a friend. Then I walked another 0.4 miles to mail it.

It boggles my mind that I was so inactive for so long; I can’t imagine not doing this.

I have been trying to keep as much as possible to my itty bitty calendar. I went to a Kick class last night, and am going to attempt Step again on Friday evening. Saturday, I’ll try Power again. I feel motivated and powerful when going to these classes. It’s awesome how much we talk ourselves out of exercising, but once I get a-going, it flies past and I’m better for it…

… I’m just hoping the motivation sticks when Muzume starts!
