My five arenas, and a lot of fandom (including a P. Diddy fail!), and Stickie casual sex...

Here is an update, done in bullets! From the five arenas, we have the following:

· Family? Pretty good, really. Talking with my cousin, my momma still doesn't know quite wtf happened with her heart, and my father keeps pushing for me to speak Spanish. So, significantly better than it had been, so woot.

· Relationship? In this past week, I've cursed myself and closed my heart because I thought it would break. I have been contacted by Clementine RANDOMLY who wanted to chat. I have a guy at work showing interest in me and asking if I like "metal." (No, really. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?) And now, I have some sort of chat going on with this kid I used to talk EIGHT YEARS ago who said he had a crush on me. We were like cyber-partners in a chatroom I used to run in with Thelma. Really? So, relationship? Still whatthefuckever.Though as a funny snippet from that convo, I give you this:
[03:04] me: Other fun fact: My exes FLEE STATES.
[03:04] me: No, really.
[03:04] him: Lmao
[03:04] me: First boyfriend? Left Florida for North Carolina.
[03:05] me: First guy I did anything physical with? Left Maryland for Tennessee.
[03:05] him: Because of you?
[03:05] me: First guy I ever slept with? Moved to Oregon.
[03:05] me: Serious chick I was involved with? Moved to Colorado.
[03:05] me: Chick I picked up at that chick's wedding? Moved to New York.
[03:05] me: NO LIE.
[03:06] me: I hope it's not cause of me, but damn, that's not good odds.
[03:06] him: Omg lol
[03:07] me: Srsly.
[03:07] me: Don't like me too much. YOU'LL MOVE.
· Work? I am still looking for a job, and have some potential interviews lined up. Which make me VERY happy. (Note to self: Complete the application, asshole.) Wish me luck. Otherwise, the Starship is still the Starship. My praises were sung when I came back from my week-ish sabbatical in PA. "I don't know how you do it." "I'm so glad you're back." "Jessie, your loquitos are calling!" I did miss my clients, and I will miss my clients, but I'm not a receptionist, fucktard; I'm a counselor. Additionally, part of me thought I wouldn't have a desk when I came back. Talk about job security. AND they fired Narc on Friday. Go Starship!

· Car? AWESOME. I love me my Kermit. You should love Kermit, too. Though he had some interesting quirks from getting a new engine put in. His hood wouldn't open and my windshield wipers didn't work. I got a hold of my mechanic and left Kermit there for a few hours while I was up in Allentown. Got him all fixed, so he's running pretty again; apparently, they forgot to hook stuff back up. Good job, doctor man!

· Friends? Still rockin'. We threw an awesome partay for Butt Nugget last weekend and made him feel like a Special Boy. There was a lot of cake, which he put all over himself. I had another Serious Conversation which made my brain hurt. I made a promise I hope I can keep. I repaid Bluejay for cleaning/cooking in my house when I was away by cleaning/cooking in her house for three days. I spent quality time with the Bestest Little Best Friend, aka Smurf. I caused a ruckus in a diner due to Mary Poppins music with someone I haven't caused enough ruckus with lately. I saw SweetPea and realized it'll be four years since we've met. I hung out with old coworkers from the House and discussed the House turning into a children's residence. So, basically, friends are made of a win.

So out of the five arenas, I have three pluses, a minus, and an "eh." Still better than it was working, huh?

Since I am not on Twitter, I don't notice much. I don't notice too much over on facebook either, since I don't belong there either. (My belief? If it's important enough, someone will call my ass. Kthnx.) However, fandom is taking off with a bound and a leap, as the much-anticipated return of Supernatural made all the fangirls (and boys, we know who you are) go squee.

Naturally, the boards and journals I follow were FLIPPING OUT about the premiere this past Thursday. However, I found out from apocalypsos's journal that apparently, there was a Twitter war between Misha Collins (whom plays Casatiel on the show, which is funny, but not as ridiculous as the next bit) and P. Diddy.

No, really.

This is what I snagged from a cached page, because apparently, everybody got offended and Twitter got overloaded, because SPN fans were like, "OH NO HE DI'NT!" and what not.Originally Posted by KristinPhoenix

Twitter's Holy War: God Versus Lucifer

A Holy War seemed to erupt today in the world, but it's not where you're probably thinking of....It happened...on Twitter. Yes, social networking titan Twitter was ground zero for the Holy War that this afternoon.

It seemed to begin when user #iamdiddy aka P Diddy noticed a trending topic named #luciferiscoming and mistook it for some kind of satanic worshipping, immediate calling his followers to begin a thread called #GodIsHere and to "let the devil know the fight he's in for! Retweet all day".

Unfortunately Mr. Diddy was mistaken as it was actually a trending topic to raise discussion of the CW's hit television show "Supernatural" in which during tonight's episode Lucifer will rise.

The Tweeting became more and more furious and intense as Diddy's followers responsed to his call, also immediate thought #luciferiscoming regarded something else and rather than check for themselves, began calling Supernatural fans devil worshippers and satanists.

Meanwhile Supernatural's strong and loyal fanbase attempted to fix the mess and explain to the #GodIsHere posts that they are not satanic worshippers and that it was just to advertise and promote their show.

Twitter's servers became overwhelmed with Tweets from the two groups and as the war got nasty, Twitter decided to pull them both from the top trending topics page without warning to any of the groups.

Supernatural's fans must now start their hard work and time from scratch once again and one may hope that celebrities such as Mr. Diddy will look and check what topics are REALLY about before starting Holy Wars on Twitter.

Srsly. I love my fandom. Speaking of which, I am still excited for the Fandom Win that will be happening in November with New Moon. (Don't judge.) And as for Vampire Diaries, I don't know how I feel about it. It's very Twilight-y. "Uh, I'm a vampire who's going to high school and really like this chick but I could kill her WOE." Dude, it's been done. I may watch next week's just to see if I can hook on it.

However, while watching this week's SPN, Hunny and I kept calling each other during commercial breaks. I eventually told her, "Why do I feel like I'm back in high school and watching '90210'? It's like, 'OMG did you see what Brandon did to Kelly???"

I am also massively upset that they moved Fringe to the same night and time as SPN. I hate to say it, but SPN wins out. I will watch Fringe somewhere else, as my VCR is being elusive and I don't know what's up with my cable. Seriously, FOX, that was a planning fail...

... still going to be the Best Fall EVAR!

Time for something random but true! Enjoy...
