after all my screw-ups, He is always there for me. just thought i'd share that publicly.
i got to dig post holes and be tarzan today. swinging on a vine is much more fun than it sounds. especially when you're doing it about twenty feet above a creek bed. i haven't had that much fun in a while.
i got to see a friend today that i won't be seeing for a while. it was actually his eagle project i was working on today. i'll get to see him tomorrow night, but that will be it for a while. he ships out for basic training in fort benning wednesday, then he goes on to special forces. man, it kinda hits you that you're not a kid anymore when somebody you grew up with joins the army. a little shocking, i might say.
so, how about that world cup? wait, who am i kidding? we're americans. the rest of the world doesn't let us join in the fun, but we don't care anyway. that french guy was stupid, too.
