The Return of the...Bocephus?
i'm back. ho hum. it wasn't no beach, but it was a week out of the house, and i guess it was a good week to be gone from what i hear.
well, had a great time at city stages (excluding the last three hours in which we were trying to get home). got to see some sort of zydeco/cajun group. don't remember the name besides that it was something crazy and french sounding, hence the cajun race. i also got to see eliot morris, who is awesome. got to see tommy emmanuel, who is one of the most amazing guitarists i've ever seen. i also got to see a little bit of los lonely boys and topped the night off with the one and only hank williams jr. i'm not a big fan, but all i cared about was his drunken antics and his insults directed towards kenny chesney and toby keith. that made me happy. had a good time with the cleezy and cornbread. the other four were too caught up with each other to be able to enjoy the time with them.
well, hopefully i'll have a good time tomorrow. that is, if it hasn't been seen already, haha. j/k.
