1995
Director: Clint Eastwood
Starring: Clint Eastwood, Meryl Streep

In Russian: Мосты округа Мэдисон

Film starts by episode when the grown-up children of Francesca Johnson (Meryl Streep) read the mother's explicit instructions to be cremated. And then whole film describes why...
Life of Francesca Johnson, Italian wife of ordinary American farmer (good fellow) goes in quiet countrylike way. She doesn’t resemble to simpleton, and her delicate soul organization couldn’t help respond to uncommon person who appeared one day in her life. Meryl Streep played Francesca’s confusion perfectly. Mary Louise Streep is great actress, there is no denying.
Once when her family was away at the Illinois State Fair she saw photographer from National Geographic who had arrived to make pictures of the Madison county bridges. Family went for 4 days - so many days Francesca and Robert Kincaid (Clint Eastwood) - photographer - had to be together and try to make decision about their affair. Robert is convinced loner but with not perverted temper and mind (“I love other people but no one in particular” - he says). Of course Francesca caught the idea that she had tangible ground to satisfied her tendensies to soul movings. She was anything but a simple woman, as Robert said... And! She gave the chance to Robert to feel emotions he'd never felt before. And probably that of certainty came once in his lifetime

I just to write several notes about main heros: ...love won't our expectations... it's mystery is pure and absolute... what they had could continue if they were together... not only they had an affair... and they were intensely bright
