I will never let go of the fact that I think it was incredibly stupid for SyFy to change the spelling of their name. But I love it's crap movies (which have been getting less crap) and it's pretty awesome miniseries and shows...So I share with you this:
...They do seem to be pulling in bigger, or more popular names from the industry for their Saturday Original Movies. In fact every time I see someone I know, I sometimes find myself wondering how they (Syfy) managed to pull them into the movie.
...But there are movies that are slated for the Syfy Channel, where they’ve lined up popular acting names. If I dare combine the fact that the network is starting to have more decent films in their stash of TV Movies, I have hope. Check it out:
* Alan Cumming (Tin Man),
* Colin Ferguson (Eureka), [*Needs to catch up with this show*]
* David Hewlett (Stargate Atlantis),
* Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight),
* Felicia Day (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), [EEEEE! I've been so excited for this one!]

RED - A descendant of Little Red Riding Hood brings her fiance home to meet her family and tell him about the family business - they are werewolf hunters. When the fiance is bitten by a werewolf, he finds himself the hunted. Stars Felicia Day [WOOT!], Kavan Smith [MY BB, LORNE!] and Stephen McHattie.

STONEHENGE APOCALYPSE - When the giant stones of Stonehenge begin to move and cataclysms occur all over the earth, only a fringe radio talk show host who’s an expert in UFOlogy figures out that the ancient monument is really alien technology. Stars Hill Harper, Misha Collins [SERIOUSLY?! YAY!], Torri Higginson (Stargate Atlantis) [MISS YOU, LADY.] and Peter Wingfield. (What is it with Misha Collins and the Apocalypse?)
...THE LOST FUTURE - In a post-apocalyptic world, both humans and animals have devolved back to the Stone Age. But a small group of wise men knows there is knowledge in the mysterious artifacts called books. Now they have found a young man who knows how to read. If they can defeat the warlord who rules the city where the books are kept, the young man can help them defeat the disease that decimated the world and restart civilization. Stars Sean Bean [YAY SOME MORE!].

IT'S LIKE THEY'RE MAKING THESE MOVIES JUST FOR MEEEEEEEEEE. *twirls* Wouldn't it be hilarious if Misha Collins got type cast and could only do Apocalypse movies and shows? Ok, it might not be hilarious, but I think it would take a lot for me to tire of it because I love Misha and I love apocalypse stuff. And the thought truly amused me for a moment there. ;)
