Overheard at Bella Faccia tonight:
Girl 1: "My past lives stretch back tens of thousands of years. But people like followers of Islam and 'Biblical' people believe the Earth is only about 6,000 years old."
Girl 2: (shaking her head incredulously) "That's just so...(long pause) -- what do we believe, again?"
For the record, I ♥ the dirty-blonde server that works there. She was so charming and conversational (and ok, yeah, totally hot), and she's one of the few people to share my idiosyncratic drink dilemma (when you want a soda with your slice, but only about three or four ounces -- not enough to do without, but not enough to justify buying a drink, aaarrgh!). I wanted to talk to her some more but the shop started getting busy and if I took any more time acting like I was still munching on that one piece of pizza that would have given the game away. But hey, I think I might be in the mood for pizza again later this week...
