summer so far
wow, so it's already july. i haven't updated since early may. does anyone even use livejournal anymore? has everyone migrated over to myspace? i know i have.
college is right around the corner... which means that my escape, my chance to start anew is so incredibly near. i just can't wait to move- august 20th. damn, that still sounds so far away.
ive learned a lot about people this summer, especially myself. janina was gone for three weeks, so i had a chance to be on my own for a while. i've done a few things that aren't great, but then again, it seems that everyone has lately... so i think i'm in the clear with that.
my boyfriend went to mexico for a week by himself- eh, scratch that, he went to cancun for a week by himself. as much as he claims that nothing happened, it's still crazy to think about, and i won't let myself be naive. hey, we're teenagers, shit happens. today janina and i went to surprise him at work... but in the end, i guess i ended up surprising myself with reality instead.

moving on. i've started training as a bartender and it's been such a blast. i just need to start memorizing my drink recipes... but i think i've finally got my counts down. it takes me about 4 counts to pour 1 ounce. it's just so much fun... it's so new. it gives me something to work on now that school is out. i'm signing myself up for a bartending class too, before i move to gainesville. that way i can get a job hopefully right away.
well i guess that enough of an update for today... maybe i'll come back to livejournal... i never get around to writing anything on myspace. hmmm!
