Jayne shoves Mal against the wall.

“If anythin’ happens to Kaylee…” he growls through gritted teeth.

“If anythin’ happens to her what, Jayne?” the Captain counters.

“So help me God… I’ll… I’ll…”

Seething with anger, Jayne takes his hands off Mal and turns away.

“Go and cool down somewhere, Jayne,” Book advises.

Jayne runs his hands through his hair, despair written all over his face. “But, Kaylee?”

Book claps him on the shoulder. “Doc’s lookin’ after him. Just let him do his job.”

“If anythin’ happens ta that girl, I swear I’ll kill ya, Mal,” Jayne threatens and storms out.
