Update
Last week's Playhouse Presents .... with Simon Callow and Richard Wilson w/Robert Vaughn doing the voice of the spaceship computer was amazing. If anything these dramas are too short, nearly every one I've seen I've come away wanting to know more about the characters/situations - I'd happily sit through a longer drama or even a series for some of them.
Also saw South Bank Show which was on Abi Morgan. It showed rehearsals for her new play, The Mistress Contract and also showed her on location for Suffragette and her new BBC drama. She said the BBC drama would be a six parter about a London policeman who has visions but they didn't say anything about the cast. She also talked a bit about The Hour + said she was sad it hadn't been recommissioned as she'd had plans for covering stuff like the Bay of Pigs. They had brief quotes from Ben Whishaw + Romola Garai.
Got new issue of Cosmopolitan which had a brief bit by Lucy Saxon on living with CFS and writing her 1st book. Plus one of Amy Winehouse's friends talking about Amy's eating disorder (which contributed to her early death). The free gift was a pair of sunglasses and a tube of Mentos - next month it's a choice of lip/cheek tints or black mascara by New CID.
