I finally saw The Artist, I thought it was OK but a bit over-hyped. I think, for me, the most interesting part was the way it had been filmed - I find the silent picture era interesting as it was the start of that golden age of Hollywood and there were some interesting characters about then.
Also got the new issue of Bust - which had an article on Flappers and an A to Z of 1993 (to celebrate their 20th anniversary). Plus a big interview w/Courtney Love who revealed she is working on her memoirs (I'll believe it when I see it!) plus some new songs - she revealed 2 of them are due to be released soon and are called Wedding Day and California. I really loved Nobody's Daughter. I feel like I'm the opposite of everybody else who likes early Hole stuff as I think her stuff is actually getting better and better and I genuinely love the stuff she did on America's Sweetheart and Nobody's Daughter.
