We got the news on May 29th that I passed medical and psychological screening. The next step was then placed into S&C’s lawyer’s hands in June, and we now have a draft of our contract!

Happy November! This fall seems to be flying by! Last Friday, the 27th, I received a draft of our contract. Hubby and I went through it over the weekend and have just a few minor changes we’d like to make. Tonight I have a call with our lawyer, to review it together. Last Sunday the 8th our family drove from Massachusetts down to Pennsylvania! We made it to our hotel by mid afternoon. Within an hour we were meeting B&L, and their three children, in the lobby! Last Tuesday the 10th, three weeks after screening day 1, I was officially cleared. The nurse coordinator at the clinic had had me stop my birth control pills on Saturday the 7th, and then start back up on them on Wednesday. Our contract was then signed on Friday the 13th! Happy February! Today I received the first draft of our contract! While reading through it today I was in communication with my agent about the first changes/typos. I will receive a revised contract tomorrow and will then be reviewing it with my attorney by phone on Wednesday. Yesterday and today were our two screening days at the clinic. Fortunately for us, my parents vacation was pushed back a few days so they were able to watch our kids. FRIDAY- Our contract is signed and notorized!!!

My labs came back fine but the clinic wants me to repeat one of the blood tests. It will be done locally on the 24th. Back to waiting some more before we get dates...

WEDNESDAY- Today was our full day at the clinic in Boston getting all the preliminary paperwork, bloodwork and tests done. It was a huge step forward in our journey. My hysteroscopy showed a great looking uterus, now we wait for the labs to come back.
